Pressure Gauges Suppliers, Saudi Arabia
Pressure gauges provide local visual indication of process pressure using mechanical dial or digital displays, serving as essential monitoring devices on pipelines, vessels, pumps, and compressors across GCC facilities. They are the most numerous individual instrument in any process plant, procured in hundreds or thousands per project. Procurement decisions center on gauge type, accuracy class, wetted material compatibility, and process connection standards.

Pressure gauges are direct-reading instruments that display process pressure at the point of measurement, providing operators with immediate visual feedback on system status. In UAE and Saudi Arabian process plants, pressure gauges are installed on virtually every pipeline, pump discharge, compressor stage, vessel, and heat exchanger, making them the single most frequently procured instrument type.
Bourdon tube gauges are the standard mechanical type, available in C-tube designs for pressures up to 1,000 bar and helical or spiral tubes for low-range applications. Diaphragm element gauges serve applications with viscous, corrosive, or crystallizing media. Dial sizes range from 63 mm for local panel mounting to 150 mm and 250 mm for field-mounted visibility. Accuracy classes per EN 837-1 range from Class 0.1 for test gauges to Class 1.6 for general industrial service, with Class 1.0 being the standard for GCC process plants.
Wetted parts material selection is critical: stainless steel 316L is the default for GCC petrochemical and oil and gas applications, with Hastelloy, Monel, or tantalum specified for highly corrosive services. Liquid-filled (glycerine or silicone oil) gauges are standard for applications with pulsation or vibration, which is common on pump discharges and compressor stages. The fill fluid dampens pointer oscillation and lubricates the movement mechanism.
Procurement managers should standardize gauge specifications across each project to minimize variety and simplify maintenance. Specify process connections that match the plant standard (typically half-inch NPT or BSP for GCC projects, with metric connections for European-origin equipment). Include diaphragm seals for gauges exposed to high-temperature, viscous, or clogging media. Order gauges with safety pattern cases (blow-out back) per EN 837-1 for personnel protection in high-pressure applications.
